Donald H. Detrick

Don Detrick was raised on a farm near Newberg, Oregon and graduated from high school there in 1973. He has been married to Jodi for more than thirty years. Jodi has served as the NWMN Women’s Ministries Director since 2002. Together they have three children: Kristi, Mark and Jana, and two granddaughters.
Don attended Eugene Bible College where he received a B.S. in pastoral ministries. He also holds a B.A. in biblical studies from Baptist Christian College, an M.A. in counseling from Luther Rice Seminary, and a D.Min. in missional leadership from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
Don loves to write, and has had numerous articles published in periodicals such as The Pentecostal Evangel, Christian Reader, Enrichment, Pulpit Helps, and Sunday Digest.
He was ordained by the Oregon District of the Assemblies of God in 1980. After pastoring for a number of years in Oregon, Don became the senior pastor of Bethel Church in Chehalis, Washington, serving for thirteen years in that location. During his tenure there, the church more than doubled in size and added a major building addition.
Don has served both the Oregon and Northwest Districts of the Assemblies of God as a presbyter and executive presbyter. He also serves as a General Presbyter for the Assemblies of God and as a member of the board of Northwest University. Since May of 2004, he has served as Secretary/Treasurer for the Northwest Ministry Network.
